Our First Ever Superpixels Audit: A SaaS That Has Raised $17M

We've just went live with our first ever Superpixels-focused audit.

In non Glen-made-up-this-word terms, that means we're looking at a site from every other angle than straight up technical SEO.

It's a SaaS brand that has raised $17M USD to date, and we've reviewed it with permission, here: https://seoblueprint.com/brand-has-raised-17m/

Now of course, we haven't forgotten that this is an SEO-focused course. The word 'SEO' is in our name, after all.

That said, a huge part of Superpixels is about taking things to the next level once you've already taken care of things like Technical SEO (at least as much as you can) and you want to make your life easier when it comes to link building and converting more customers.

I genuinely hadn't looked at this site for close to a year before reviewing it, but definitely found a few things I think should be improved.

I really hope you like this one!

Auditing the Site of a Large Cannabis Magazine Publisher

While this audit isn't too different from other audits we have inside SEO Blueprint, I should mention that it's quite...blunt.

I cover quite a few issues on the website, but I don't go into detail on each specific one like I normally would.

Why? Well, we have so many audits where I've pointed out similar issues that I don't want to bore you.

Instead, I've tried to focus more on the site as a whole - giving attention to the breadth of the website, rather than its depth.

Here's the link: https://seoblueprint.com/cannabis-publisher/

Still, I am honored to have been able to look at the site and if anything else, it's testament to our course that all of the problems found have individual videos covering them in a lot of depth.

There's also a special announcement around the 15 minute mark if you haven't been following the comments inside the course, that I can't wait to share with you!

Auditing the Travel Site of SEO Blueprint Member, Jeremy

We've just went live with a new website audit for 2021: This time looking at the personal travel site of SEO Blueprint member, Jeremy.

Jeremy clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to SEO and building sites - and the site is in a niche that's clearly personal to him - but I (Glen) still felt like I had some good suggestions to offer.

You can view the audit here: https://seoblueprint.com/travel-site-with-passionate/

Jeremy has built a great brand and has some incredible social proof, but some areas of the website could do with a little "polish" to help him make the most of the traffic he's getting.

Thanks for the opportunity to look at the site, Jeremy, and we wish you the best of luck with it going forward!

Get Our New SEO Extension Before Anyone Else

A couple of weeks ago, in our members-only Facebook Group, we shared a new SEO extension we've been working on for the past few months.

It allows you to massively speed up day to day SEO work and includes a few features you won't find in any other extension.

Here's the link to the group post - https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/484041405617336/ - where you can find more information.

Thanks to your amazing feedback, we've been adding a ton of features and just went live with version 1.1.

We plan to share this with the world in a few weeks, but would love to have you give it a try before anyone else.

(It should also help de-clutter your bookmarks bar a little as well).

Auditing a New York Photographers Website (New Video)

It's 2020 and we plan to roll out just as many (if not a lot more) updates than we did in 2019.

We're still working on a lot of the private video audits we promised behind the scenes, but a few people did give us permission to put their video audit inside the course.

One person who gave us permission is New York Photographer James Maher.

You can find his audit here: https://seoblueprint.com/website-of-a-new-york-photographer/

Note: We didn't send an email about this as it's a smaller update, though we do plan to add another video tomorrow.

We have a lot of huge updates planned for 2020, and I can't wait to share them all with you.

We're Giving Away Up to $1,000 in SEO Tool Prizes

As we've just closed the doors on our second ever opening, I thought it would be the perfect time to run a contest I've always wanted to be part of myself.

We're giving away up to $1,000 in SEO tool prizes (split among four winners), and in return, all you have to do is find something quirky or weird about the site I share tomorrow.

This is not a competition about who can write the most or who can spend the most time on a website: It's just a bit of fun, giving you a reason to put some of the on-site modules to the site and bringing our amazing community together.

The contest starts in 24 hours, and you can learn more about it in our Facebook group, here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/451823655505778/

Even if you're brand new to SEO, you stand a chance of winning this one.

If all goes well, I would love to run more of these fun contests in the future, so let's see how it goes.

Remember: We want to build an elite and exclusive community, but we also want to be free from elitism and judgement, so if you wish to join our Facebook group with a pen name (as long as Facebook approve your account) that's totally fine.

Auditing a WordPress Plugin Provider (And Using Sitebulb on Screen)

If you've watched a few of my on-site audits already, then you'll know I'm a huge fan of ScreamingFrog.

It saves a lot of time when auditing a site, and helps you uncover issues you probably wouldn't have found otherwise.

One tool I'm a fan of, but haven't yet used on a site audit (at least not a recorded one), is Sitebulb.

Like ScreamingFrog, it's a premium site auditing tool designed to help you uncover problems. It does look quite different though:

Sitebulb is also set-up very differently to SF and takes a while to get used to, but I thought you might like to see how it works, so used it for my most recent update.

Here's the link: https://seoblueprint.com/analysing-a-wordpress-plugin/

I really hope you enjoy this one. Lots more on the way!

P.S. If you're not yet in our Facebook Group, don't forget to come and join us over here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/

A New Worksheet for How to Act Towards Thin Content

One of the longest videos in the program - and perhaps the longest in the on-site SEO module - is my guide on how to act towards "thin" or "unnecessary" website pages.

At the request of Dane (Thanks Dane!), we've just finished putting together a 16-page worksheet to go with the video as well.

You'll find it directly under the video, here: https://seoblueprint.com/act-upon-thin-or-unnecessary-pages/

I hope this makes life easier for you!

New Audit of 'LiberalArtsColleges' in the Audits Module

Note: Due to this being a smaller update I'm not emailing it out to update subscribers.

I've just went live with an audit of a website in the education space, where I found a few opportunities for improvement on their site.

You can find the audit here: https://seoblueprint.com/analysing-a-site-covering/

I actually gave quite a long update to the sites owner in the comments with some feedback on why his homepage may not be ranking as well as it should.

It might give you some food for thought for the projects you're working on.

He's a really nice guy, so I hope we can help him with this one!

New Worksheet for 'Key Pages Losing Search Traffic' Video

Note: This is a smaller update so we did not send this out as an email to subscribers.

While creating the video on What to Check on Key Pages Which Have Lost Search Traffic, I realised I should probably create a worksheet to go with it.

This was then requested twice in the comments, so we have now put that worksheet live on the site.

You can find it underneath the video, and it looks something like this:

To try to be even more useful, and to hopefully make your life easier, we've also added chapter links to the video, as you can see in the screenshot below:

This means you don't have to watch the whole video again to see what was said about a particular check.

The worksheet also contains a time mention for each specific check as well.
