We're Giving Away Up to $1,000 in SEO Tool Prizes

As we've just closed the doors on our second ever opening, I thought it would be the perfect time to run a contest I've always wanted to be part of myself.

We're giving away up to $1,000 in SEO tool prizes (split among four winners), and in return, all you have to do is find something quirky or weird about the site I share tomorrow.

This is not a competition about who can write the most or who can spend the most time on a website: It's just a bit of fun, giving you a reason to put some of the on-site modules to the site and bringing our amazing community together.

The contest starts in 24 hours, and you can learn more about it in our Facebook group, here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/451823655505778/

Even if you're brand new to SEO, you stand a chance of winning this one.

If all goes well, I would love to run more of these fun contests in the future, so let's see how it goes.

Remember: We want to build an elite and exclusive community, but we also want to be free from elitism and judgement, so if you wish to join our Facebook group with a pen name (as long as Facebook approve your account) that's totally fine.

A New Video on Mobile Auditing (With Two Real-World Examples)

When most of your website traffic likely comes from people using a mobile or tablet device, it's important to ensure there aren't any obvious issues for the majority of your site users.

That's why in today's video not only will I show you how to look for issues, but also give two examples of issues I came across in the real-world.

(This was also my first time recording videos directly on my phone and embedding them into a normal video, which was fun).

You can find the video here: https://seoblueprint.com/site-on-a-mobile-device/

With the great rollout of mobile-first indexing, how your site appears and how it differs from your desktop experience is critical to keep in mind.

We will have some more videos on this for that exact reason, but I plan to share something a little more exciting in our next update :)

A New Worksheet for How to Act Towards Thin Content

One of the longest videos in the program - and perhaps the longest in the on-site SEO module - is my guide on how to act towards "thin" or "unnecessary" website pages.

At the request of Dane (Thanks Dane!), we've just finished putting together a 16-page worksheet to go with the video as well.

You'll find it directly under the video, here: https://seoblueprint.com/act-upon-thin-or-unnecessary-pages/

I hope this makes life easier for you!

Two Brand New Videos on Outreach That Actually Works

We've just added two new videos to the link building module sharing different outreach angles that actually work.

(There are actually three new outreach videos if you didn't see the one we added at the end of last week).

Not only will you get a core foundation of what makes people open and respond to emails from strangers - so you're never lost about what to say, without being spammy - but I'll show some real world examples as well.

You can find the new videos in the link building blueprint.

The first is titled, "Perfecting Your Why: A Framework Behind Successful Outreach" (link), and there are two more directly after that.

I show some pretty cool tips I haven't seen discussed before so I really hope you get value out of this one.

If link building is not your focus just yet, I have some really exciting updates for other Blueprint's on the way as well.

Introducing a New Outreach Series (One of Many Updates in Progress)

I hate to be "that guy", but the updates we have planned for SEO Blueprint going forward are just incredibly exciting to me.

We have tools, worksheets, angles and more that I think you're going to love. I can't wait to share them over the coming weeks and months.

One new venture kicking off today is the introduction of a new series on outreach, and specifically some "ins" you can use to break down barriers and get the attention of your Seed 100.

This introduction video is quite simple so I'm not sending it as an email to update subscribers, but there is one cool angle in there regarding Client SEO I think you're going to find useful.

(Plus, it lays the groundwork for all of the related videos to come).

You can find the link here: https://seoblueprint.com/framework-behind-successful-outreach/

Most importantly, I never want you think "What kind of email should I send to this person that will work the best?"

As long as you know the core fundamental reason why successful outreach is, well...successful, then you'll never doubt the messages you're about to send.

An Interesting On-Site "Issue" I've Been Seeing Lately

One of the things I love the most about SEO is that I continually find new things that affect a large number of pages on one site, that have never been an issue on sites I've analysed in the past.

Today's new video covers a specific example, referring to the character people use before adding their branding in title tags.

I can't say too much since these updates are available to read by non-members as well (though the content isn't), but I think you'll find this one interesting.

I really hope you like this one.

A 30-Minute Video on What to Do With Thin / Unnecessary Pages

Throughout the on-site SEO module, I've shown a number of different ways to find pages on your site (or your clients sites) that probably shouldn't exist.

At times, I've also included a number of hints as to what to do about those pages; such as sharing fixes for the "pages as images" issue which is common on sites running on WordPress.

Thanks to some feedback from Kim and Abhishek, I realised we should definitely have a single, in-depth video on what to do with the majority of "thin" or "strange" pages you come across.

I've just went live with a new video on exactly that: https://seoblueprint.com/act-upon-thin-or-unnecessary-pages/

This video was 40 minutes long before I cut it down to 30, but I like to think there's no fluff and it's full of actionable advice.

Just to make your life easier, you'll find clickable chapters in the play bar so you can skip to the sections most relevant to you.

I really hope you enjoy this one!

P.S. If you're reading this as an email subscriber, I actually made two other updates in the last 48 hours that I didn't email you about.

I try to only email you when I have something big to say, but you can click on What's new in the top right of the page after you log-in, and you'll see what else we've added.

New Worksheet for 'Key Pages Losing Search Traffic' Video

Note: This is a smaller update so we did not send this out as an email to subscribers.

While creating the video on What to Check on Key Pages Which Have Lost Search Traffic, I realised I should probably create a worksheet to go with it.

This was then requested twice in the comments, so we have now put that worksheet live on the site.

You can find it underneath the video, and it looks something like this:

To try to be even more useful, and to hopefully make your life easier, we've also added chapter links to the video, as you can see in the screenshot below:

This means you don't have to watch the whole video again to see what was said about a particular check.

The worksheet also contains a time mention for each specific check as well.

How I Pick Up Expired Domains with (Seemingly) Minimal Competition

I've just went live with a video I know a lot of people are going to be interested in: How to find interesting expired domains (with link authority) that you can pick up.

There's quite a long introduction to this one to give a bit of backstory, but if you want to skip to the meat you can find it at 6 minutes and 30 seconds into the video.

You can get the link to the video here: https://seoblueprint.com/minimal-competition-expired-domains/

I really hope you enjoy this one!

An Unique Approach to Finding Affiliate Products to Promote

I'm incredibly excited to share today's video with you.

It uses a unique angle I've never seen anyone else talk about, and also includes a tool you can use for your own research to go with it.

You can find the video directly, at https://seoblueprint.com/affiliate-hot-products/.

There's also a worksheet to go with it with installation instructions and more things to keep in mind about the whole angle.
