Not only that, but a mistake here in recent months cost us thousands of clicks before we become aware of the problem (and rectified it).
This video was already in place on SEO Blueprint, but as part of our continued goal to refresh past videos with new information and insights, it has received a much needed update and doubled in length.
You can find the updated training, here.
As always, we've highlighted certain sections of the video to make it easier for you to find which parts are most relevant and useful for your situation.
I really hope you find value in this one.
]]>I first shared this angle back in 2020, and now in 2024 it's as relevant as ever.
As this section of the website is open to non-members I can't say too much about it here, but if you are a member, I'll say the word "iPhone" which should give a hint.
You can find the updated training here.
I really hope you find the examples inspiring, as I'm focused on the approach here (not just for link building opportunities, but content ideas as well) more than ever before.
A lot of what we teach in SEO Blueprint is about how to make your website and content so enticing that it makes it:
While nothing is guaranteed, I think these are some of the best goals to aim for when trying to grow a business that picks up traffic from search engines.
So, if you're running a SaaS business, eCommerce store, local service business or anything where content isn't the main feature of your brand, this update is for you.
Inside you'll learn two "hidden" aspects of the following screenshot which I think make a huge difference:
I love that the main example from when I shared this a few years back is still in place (and the company are doing well) but I added two brand new examples and updated a lot of the content as well.
I hope you enjoy this one!
]]>Link building is one of the most important factors of SEO, yet at times one of the most difficult jobs to get results in, so covering it in our own way was crucial.
That said, tactics can only take you so far, and it's important to have an overall philosophy and strategy at the heart of what you're doing.
The philosophy we've covered throughout our training is as relevant today as it was when we first launched, if not more so now. I'm still focused on it daily.
Today we've started work on the first draft of a new module that aligns with what we've been teaching since day one. You can find it here.
Note: If you're reading this and aren't a member or haven't gone through our link building training in a while, keep in mind that these modules are only a tiny part of our overall link building training which now consists of 32 separate sections.
On its own, it's a fairly simple page, although I think some of the ideas are world-class. If truth be told, I primarily want to bring back awareness to the concept overall, for people wondering what approach they should be taking to build links in 2024.
There's lots more on the way. We'll keep making progress step-by-step.
Thank you for reading!
]]>At first they appear to have minimal value, but they're a big part of the impression people get when they come to your website or learn about your brand through social media.
The first new section is about fonts, and how I feel a lot of websites "cheapen" how people see them when choosing the wrong ones.
Not only do I share a number of examples I personally love, but more importantly I teach you how to identify the fonts any website is using, so you can benefit from inspiration you find around the web.
Next up is social media cards, and the graphics that accompany your links when you share updates on X (Twitter), Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn and more.
I'm not sure about you, but I feel like this is a genius graphic to use on the homepage of a packaging company focused on the USA.
This section admittedly isn't as filled out as I would like, but I only add examples when I come across them in the wild, rather than actively look to add them. This way I feel like I always add items I genuinely think look good.
If you're unfamiliar with our Superpixels concept or reading this without being an SEO Blueprint member, please keep in mind these updates are only a tiny part of our overall teaching. Creating an incredible website makes so many aspects of "traditional SEO" easier (such as a link building) which is why we like to cover it.
I felt like these were important angles to cover, so made sure we've done exactly that.
]]>The most work definitely went into our Overall Design page, where lots of sites were removed (redesigns weren't as attractive, or they were acquired and redirected elsewhere) and lots of new sites were added.
The other two updated modules can be found here and here.
As a reminder, you don't need to remember exactly which modules we've been updating (that would be super annoying for you), but instead just know that every single Superpixels module is being refreshed for 2024.
That's the entirety of the original Superpixels modules complete now, as promised. Let's keep going...
]]>This includes removing items which are no longer relevant, refreshing those which are that have been updated, and adding new items to each section.
A changelog on each page allows you to see what has been changed:
You can find the three updated modules here, here, here and here.
Note: You don't have to keep track of each of these manually. You can simply navigate them with the left sidebar menu. I simply wanted to hold ourselves accountable to getting all of these refreshed, so we're giving updates about individual page changes.
Thank you for being here!
]]>Three sections have been updated: Here, here and here.
To help make following-along with the updates easier, I (Glen) have also spent some time redesigning the sidebar to house all of the updates.
You'll now see very clear numbers next to each section which reveal how many items they contain:
I'm still not totally happy with the icons next to each menu item - I think we should have something a bit more professional - but I know that the content we share is far more important than the appearance of the site that hosts it.
Each of these page updates alone admittedly aren't very exciting, but it will be great when the entire section has been revamped with the 100+ new items we're adding in total.
Thank you for being here. The big announcement is coming soon.
]]>So many sites I looked at and audited each day were massively lacking something extra, and Superpixels was created to help you fill those gaps in your own websites.
Successful websites tend to be living, breathing things, with design overhauls and strategy changes as a way to adapt to what's working and what site visitors value.
For that reason, we've been tracking those changes and are ready to start adding them to the course.
We've already updated the first design section, here, where we've removed Superpixels which no longer exist, recaptured those which have modernised, and added more that we love.
This is going to be happening for all modules, and we'll probably have 2-3 updates per week here while the changes are being made.
Everything is ready to be added and updated after months of collecting new examples — we just have to do the work.
I know I'm incredibly biased but I love the entire Superpixels concept so to see the amazing feedback it received on launch (and continues to receive — thanks Shawna!), I couldn't be happier to keep updating it.
It's only right that as websites evolve, we keep this section of the website updated as well.
There's another exciting announcement we're going to make soon, but for now let me wish you all a Happy New Year, and I hope you're doing well wherever you are. 🎉
]]>That changes today where I, Glen, look at two websites of SEO Blueprint members and share my feedback on what they can improve.
These were a bit tricky to audit since both sites have a lot of great elements in place, but each still had things to potentially work on.
You can find the two videos at the top of our Audits Blueprint page or you can get direct links to the two specific videos here and here.
Taking advantage of new video player functionality that didn't exist when we first launched this course, we also highlighted issues along the playbar of the video you're watching:
This should make it much easier to skip directly to recommendations if you're short on time.
In the first video you'll also see me perform a quick check of some new functionality in ScreamingFrog which should make auditing websites that much quicker.
I really hope you find these valuable!
- G
]]>The text portion has increased massively due to our recent exclusive reports on ranking AI-generated content, competing with digital goliaths dominating Google (Superpixels) and specifically which independent websites thrive during Google updates.
On top of this we have live website audits, custom tools, and the focus of today, our checklists so you can keep track of updates you're making to personal and client websites, or those you work on in-house.
In May we started adding new checks specifically for eCommerce sites, and now in September we've gone live with a huge update for those who want to rank local businesses higher in Google's search results.
To find it, simply login and click the link to the checklist on your main dashboard page.
Then you can find the new Local SEO tab, like so:
This isn't just any random list of steps, but you'll see notes assigned to most items and links to either the relevant Blueprint training video, or a page on our site with more images as examples.
The vast majority of updates in the first SEO Audit tab apply to all website types, but we're going to be making more additions to the eCommerce tab in the coming weeks as well.
I really hope you like this one!
]]>We go in-depth on topics like:
You'll also see the tools I'm really not a big fan of, despite the hype they've received elsewhere.
Caption: Showing the Detailed mascot with the leaders in AI right now, Nvidia, felt like a good fit
Once you're logged in, you can read the report here: https://seoblueprint.com/superpixels-ai-seo/
I've put a ton of effort into this and I'm proud of the end result, but it honestly feels like this is just the beginning.
One of the best parts of running a course like SEO Blueprint is that we're always aiming to stay up to date on what's working, right now, so we'll continue to share new insights on this topic going forward.
- Glen Allsopp
]]>I've been writing about SEO for more than half of my life now and there's no doubt that what's happening in AI is one of the biggest changes to the industry I've seen.
I'm not going to lie, when ChatGPT was introduced (and later integrations with Bing, and the teasing of Google's SGE) I was concerned about what the future of SEO might be.
I didn't want to just rely on what was happening with my own sites or client sites, or those I discussed SEO with, to be my only barometer of how things were going.
With that in mind, I came up with a new idea to have unique insights on who is continuing to thrive, rank well, and make a lot of money.
I've spent months on this idea (you'll see how when you read the link), getting a little obsessive in the process, and I've had a ton of insights along the way.
I've wrote more about this idea and what I've been doing on our Facebook Group, here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/posts/1226226008065535/
I'll make sure some of those insights will be exclusive for SEO Blueprint members (of course), so I can't wait to share them with you.
P.S. If you notice the site has been a little slow lately, it's because we've been running a lot of calculations on our latest SERP analysis. We've done a lot of these in the past, but this is by far our biggest ever and it cauased more strain than I expected. There's about 72 hours left until it's finished running, then all will be back to normal.
Future experiments will not be ran on the same server as SEO Blueprint, so my sincere apologies, and this will not happen again.
]]>You can get the direct link, here: https://detailed.com/site-search/
On that page you'll find a video explaining how the extension works, but let me embed it here as well...
Important Note: I set this extension to only show when it's clicked on in your browser bar. It's too distracting if it's enabled for every single Google search you make. At 1m 50s in the video I show you exactly how to enable that.
This is probably the first and only update here that isn't exclusive for SEO Blueprint members, but because you've seen me use this so many times inside the training I had to share it here.
Videos explaining the issues and more use cases will always be exclusive to members.
As I state in the video, this is really for people who are auditing a few websites every month.
If you have SEO clients, want to find sites with issues to pitch services or just like finding problems on websites, you'll find this saves you a ton of time.
Otherwise, and I'm just being honest here, this probably isn't for you.
I promised we would have a lot of updates this year and you can hopefully see we are shipping at a rapid rate at the moment. There is a lot more on the way!
The extension is 100% free and always will be.
You can download it directly, here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/remove-breadcrumbs/banhponphmmpnpogmfaahcgkgbgkcoka/
If you don't have time for the video and just want to see an image of what it looks like in action, check out the Hubspot URL in the screenshot below:
Please don't mistake this as being an insult to HubSpot, but that extreme URL - that you can only see because of our extension - is the exact kind of thing I want to notice that I might not have seen otherwise.
When websites are especially large, even looking through ScreamingFrog, Sitemaps and Google Search Console can still mean you miss something.
This is just one more way to get another view of what is happening on a site.
Google made some changes to their search results around two weeks ago which stopped the extension from working, but we've updated it and all is well again.
If you already have it installed there's nothing you need to do. It will update automatically.
Updating the extension seemed like a great opportunity to let you know about it if you hadn't came across it before.
There is absolutely no tracking of any kind in the extension and it's 100% free.
I really hope you find it useful!
You may recall we previously had desktop software which provided this functionality but as Google are prone to changing how they display search results, the software was prone to breaking and needed to be frequently updated.
We've figured out a far better solution (there's nothing you need to download or sign-up for) whereby we can assign credits to every single SEO Blueprint member using your existing login credentials.
You can find the tool directly, here: https://seoblueprint.com/ranks/ (note that you need to be logged in for this to load).
You can find the video explaining the tool, here: https://seoblueprint.com/how-to-extract-urls/
You won't really "see" any of this but the thing I'm most proud of is how we've integrated this seamlessly with your current login. We've built a hidden credits system which links to your current account and this allows us to roll out even more on-site tools going forward.
I can't wait to share what else we have planned.
Thank you for being here!
You offer a few different services, so build out pages for each one. But then comes the dilemma: Should your homepage target the "social media agency" keyphrase, or should a service page? Or can both?
Or what if you have a page on the best laptops for 2024. Can you safely create pages on the best budget laptops and the best laptops from Lenovo, or will those pages "fight" against each other in search results?
We aim to answer those questions and more in our brand new keyword cannibalisation training, which you can find here: https://seoblueprint.com/keyword-cannibalisation-top-rankings/
The video is marked with chapters so you can skip to the parts most relevant for your situation.
In it I show two free ways to help identify cannibalisation issues, and how to speed up the process if you have access to a premium tool like Ahrefs or Semrush.
Then we look at the best and most common ways to rectify any problems you might have uncovered.
I really hope you enjoy this one!
- Glen
]]>Their official documentation on how to write high-quality reviews, which they linked to in the above Twitter announcement, can be found here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/specialty/ecommerce/write-high-quality-reviews
There has been a lot of talk of huge ranking shifts recently, with some big winners and some initial losers as well.
Thanks to our tracking of 165 independent affiliate sites we’re in the perfect position to tell you if there are any correlations with sites that are now ranking better than ever, or worse than before.
We're just waiting for things to be a little less volatile, then we’re going to run all of the numbers again for our exclusive report and share our findings inside the training.
Stay tuned for an update on that at the end of this month / early May.
In recent weeks a lot of people have reached out to me to ask my thoughts on AI and its impact on search and content creation going forward.
It’s a hot topic, so it’s not surprising people want to be prepared for what’s next, but my answer up until now has been some variation of, “I have 15 pages of notes and I’m writing a big report on all of my thoughts”.
That's still the case. This is an important topic and I want to share a well-researched piece (and I was also hoping Google's Bard would be more present in search results by now). That said, a recent post in our Facebook group did get me to share some initial thoughts...
You can find what's behind the 'See more' link text over here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/posts/1174729786548491/
You might not know this but when we first launched SEO Blueprint, we had no plans for a Facebook Group, Slack community or any other type of forum.
We were worried that having comments under every video and a Facebook Group would be too much for us to keep up with, and that we would find ourselves answering the same questions over and over again.
Luckily enough people convinced us to start a Facebook group, as our /gold/ page wouldn’t exist without it.
One of the first posts that went live in our group was a thread where people could share what they were working on so they could connect with other members on the same journey.
We’ve just started a brand new thread for this in 2023, so if you want to connect with fellow members, please do go and share your story over here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/posts/1173842983303838/
As I hinted at in our group a few weeks ago, we’ve been working on a number of tools to help you with keyword research, getting insights from search results and much more.
Something I want to make clear is that I’m not building these tools to make money from you. You'll either be able to plug in your API keys from other software or I'll just give you as many free credits as I can. They'll never include any kind of payment option to us.
The first tool will just be me giving you free credits to use with it.
The slight technical challenge has been integrating what is essentially a brand new software project into our current Blueprint membership system.
I would rather not make you have to sign up for something again to enjoy all of the additions, so we've tried to make things work with your current login.
I’m happy to report that the first tests integrating the two were a success, so I just need to make things a little prettier to match our style and I’ll be sharing the first one very soon.
One thing I’m really proud of regarding SEO Blueprint is that it’s not something we recorded once and then just try to promote forever.
The doors to this training are very rarely open (usually just two weeks per year, on average) and we’ve made dozens of updates in each of our four years since launching.
Most individual updates aren't significant enough to send emails about, but I promise they are happening behind the scenes.
For instance, we recently updated our videos on Finding the Most Important Pages on Competitor Websites and How You Can Use InTitle: to Give New Insights to Even the Smartest of SEOs.
The original videos were fine in that they made sense and the ideas inside them still worked, but when Google have made two design changes since the original video, we don’t want things to look dated when they’re working as well as ever.
We have a new system on the way if you want to see every tiny detail we've been changing, though we will of course continue to share any significant changes here as well.
If you’ve been following my work (Glen) for any decent length of time then you’ll know that this year - at least in the world of SEO - we’ve published more content than ever. The Detailed blog has not only had a massive design overhaul but lots of new content has gone live as well.
As we’ve been planning a lot more content for the Detailed roadmap (there are at least a dozen articles / reports in the works) we're pretty settled on the idea that we want to share a lot of value in public, but also keep some really specific insights as exclusives for SEO Blueprint members.
This means that over the coming months, you’re not only going to see us sharing new marketing concepts and ideas at Detailed, but as SEO Blueprint members you’re going to get exclusive additions to most of the articles that people won’t see on the site.
We’ve already done one report in this way - our deep-dive on successful independent affiliates - but we’re going to be focusing on a lot more than just affiliate sites going forward.
I prefer not to talk about things before they’re ready, but also want to make sure you know your Blueprint access comes with lifetime updates, and I can’t wait to share what we have coming up.
Thank you for being here!
- G
It went semi-viral around the web (at least in the world of SEO) and contained a promise: I'm going to share even more insights exclusively with SEO Blueprint members.
9,000+ words later, that promise is now a reality, and the report is live.
Here's the direct link: https://seoblueprint.com/superpixels-affiliate-analysis/
(Note: You need to be logged into SEO Blueprint to see it)
I genuinely expected this to be a 2,000, maybe 3,000 word report but I just kept finding more angles I wanted to research and write about.
You're going to learn:
And a lot more.
Because it's such a large report I've made it as skimmable as I possibly can so you can focus on what's more relevant to your situation.
These reports take a ton of time and effort so I can't publish them as quickly as I like, but we have a few more we're working on behind the scenes. I know many members run eCommerce stores, SaaS companies, service businesses and more, and I have you covered.
My current philosophy is that I'll share a huge, in-depth report on Detailed and then follow it up a few weeks later with additional, exclusive insights just for Blueprint members.
I really hope you get a lot of value from this. There's lots more on the way!
- Glen
P.S. I can't see replies to these emails (there's a link inside the report where you can discuss it) but someone recently said that whoever designs them needs to be fired. It made me laugh because I kind of agree.
Sadly I can't control how they look as it's part of the announcement software we use which allows us to have the nice widgets in the Blueprint dashboard and navigation bar, but I may revert to using other software just for announcement emails going forward.
]]>There are a lot of SEO courses out there online so for you to put your trust in the one we've created is something we massively appreciate, and we'll keep improving the course for many years to come as a way of saying thank you in return.
We've been a little quiet over the past few months publicly, but a lot of time has been spent behind the scenes working on a complete publishing schedule for 2023.
To start with, we have a brand new design for the Detailed blog.
It won't be to everyone's taste (I don't think any website is) but I primarily wanted to make sure it was clean, simple and made the content easy to read. You may need to click 'display images' in your email client to see the graphic above.
I also wanted to integrate multiple page styles, so we now have a Behind the Scenes area (3 articles in there at the moment, with lots more to come) that looks completely different to a typical blog post.
There's also an article on there I haven't tweeted about, emailed, or announced in any way.
This was not just choosing a new theme.
We literally built something custom from the ground up, with a lot of little features I haven't seen elsewhere (I'll write about that in the future, as many are easy to miss but I see in our analytics they're being used).
If things go to plan, we'll publish more than 10 detailed guides in 2023. (That doesn't sound like a lot, unless you consider we've written less than 10 guides in the history of the site).
These guides will aim to help you take your websites to the next level, with concepts I don't believe have been written about before.
Since Detailed is an SEO blog I thought the above would be relevant to you, but we have dozens of private updates in the wings for SEO Blueprint members as well.
We've been filling up our Trello over the second half of 2022 with brand new concepts I think we'll be the first to share. Ever.
We also have a few videos we want to go back and update as well.
All new concepts get put into a Google Sheet where I rate them by excitement (I know, I'm weird).
The idea being - and it has always stood me well - that the more excited I am to work on and share something, the more insightful and useful you'll find it.
There are currently 46 items on that list, and my excitement goes as low as '4'.
Some of these just at the ideas stage, but many are more than half complete.
A couple of items on the list have had literal months of development work put into them, and many thousands of dollars, and they'll be going inside the course.
Your SEO Blueprint membership came with lifetime updates, so of course there will be no charge for these.
When I started writing this it was just going to be a "Happy New Year" post and I wasn't going to click the 'Send as email' button (I don't send most updates here as emails) but I got a little carried away in the above.
I think that's all for now.
I know what really matters is what we publish next, and how useful that is for your online success, so let's focus on that.
Thank you for being here. Some amazing things are coming...
- Glen & the Detailed team
]]>We have some huge updates in progress that I can't wait to share with you, but it's important that we take care of things like this as well when we add new training or refresh what we've shared in the past.
Thank you for being here!
People who have insights of their own they've been happy to share with members of the community.
There have been quite a few insights in the community that we hadn't added to our dedicated highlights page, so we've just gone ahead and done exactly that.
You can check them out here: https://seoblueprint.com/gold/
You may have seen the page in the past already, but this might be a good time to give it another look to see if there's anything you've missed.
What wasn't interesting to you before based on the stage you were at, may be exactly what you need to read right now.
Enjoy!
]]>
You can find the video here: https://seoblueprint.com/best-content-strategy/
I'm super excited to be able to share this one!
Lots more on the way...
The thing I love more than anything about Lucian's teaching is that he's focused on things that have actually worked for him and his clients, rather than just theory.
We have a new video in the series coming very shortly, which I can't wait to share!
You can learn more about your new teacher and the upcoming series, here: https://seoblueprint.com/new-local-seo-insights/
The next video will be coming shortly!
]]>Now of course, we haven't forgotten that this is an SEO-focused course. The word 'SEO' is in our name, after all.
That said, a huge part of Superpixels is about taking things to the next level once you've already taken care of things like Technical SEO (at least as much as you can) and you want to make your life easier when it comes to link building and converting more customers.
I genuinely hadn't looked at this site for close to a year before reviewing it, but definitely found a few things I think should be improved.
I really hope you like this one!
This update is simply to let you know that since the last time we wrote an announcement with this notification software, we've literally added dozens of Superpixels examples.
The SuperDesign and SuperDesign+ sections (and quite a few tabs in-between) have had the most updates, so if you're ever looking for inspiration, I think you'll love what we've been adding.
I can't wait to unveil all the new changes!
- G
Content that we added to the Super 100 and Super Content modules have been put in their respective Blueprints, rather than being kept as part of Superpixels.
In other words, we added quite a bit more content than this, but now it can be found in its proper home.
You should get redirected to the Dashboard page as soon as you login but if not, here's another link: https://seoblueprint.com/dashboard/
Thank you for all of the incredible feedback on SEO Blueprint 2 so far. There's lots more on the way!
Darren's "This is the best thing I read online in 2 years" truly made my day.
I also included Hannes' "Is this still focusing on SEO?" question because this is such a radical change to what we've shared in the past.
Because of this, I think I should reiterate what I said to Gabor's great comment (among 75 on our announcement post).
In essence, after doing 1,500+ video audits, we keep finding the same SEO issues over and over again. Things that should definitely be fixed, but 99% of those fixes are already inside the course.
I cover quite a few issues on the website, but I don't go into detail on each specific one like I normally would.
Why? Well, we have so many audits where I've pointed out similar issues that I don't want to bore you.
Instead, I've tried to focus more on the site as a whole - giving attention to the breadth of the website, rather than its depth.
Here's the link: https://seoblueprint.com/cannabis-publisher/
Still, I am honored to have been able to look at the site and if anything else, it's testament to our course that all of the problems found have individual videos covering them in a lot of depth.
There's also a special announcement around the 15 minute mark if you haven't been following the comments inside the course, that I can't wait to share with you!
- Glen
Jeremy has built a great brand and has some incredible social proof, but some areas of the website could do with a little "polish" to help him make the most of the traffic he's getting.
Thanks for the opportunity to look at the site, Jeremy, and we wish you the best of luck with it going forward!
Here's the link: https://seoblueprint.com/diagnosing-finding-issues/
If you watch it all the way through, you'll also learn about a couple of tools on the Detailed website there's a good chance you didn't know existed.
- Glen
P.S. Later today we're opening up SEO Blueprint for the first time in 9 months. If you know anyone who might benefit from the course, we would love it you passed it along (zero pressure, of course).
]]>URL Profiler's tool no longer works, so we built our own, exclusively for members.
Here's a preview of how it looks (you may need to click 'display images' if you're viewing this in an email client):
We initially released this in our Facebook Group last week as a Mac only offering, but I'm happy to tell you the Windows version is now live.
Please note that this software is in beta (it's the first version) so we will look to improve it.
You can get the download links, and view our terms of use, here.
The 'terms of use' is a bit boring, we know, but we do have to point out that scraping search results is against Google's Terms of Service.
To help protect you, we purposefully limit how many keywords you can scrape search results for to 25 per term. We also have a 'random' timing option in place as well.
Wondering what you would do with a tool like this? You can learn more about what we previously taught over here, but you'll find many possible use cases in our entire on-site SEO blueprint.
We really hope you get value from this.
If you have any questions or feedback, please join our Facebook thread, here.
]]>As more and more comments come in, we save them on a Trello board so that when we do update the page, we have quite a few comments to add at once.
Today we've refreshed the gold page, adding things like:
- Kevin's smart tip on getting more YouTube views
- How Purushottam increased clicks on his affiliate inks
- Glenn shared how he creates exceptional content for clients (even in niches he isn't familiar with)
There's much more, but part of the fun is in seeing all of the headlines on our gold page at once and clicking on those that interest you.
Thanks to all who stop by our community each and every day.
If you found value in someone's comments, please do let them know!
If you missed it, Kevin actually did a great AMA (Ask Me Anything) in our Facebook Group, which you can find here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/513903169297826/
Huge congrats to Kevin on a professional level, and an even bigger Thank You from me on a personal one.
You've been more help than you will know.
Shopify are lucky to have you.

]]>It's already off to a great start, with over 140 comments.
We're personally committing to spending a minimum of $5,000 in response to replies in that very thread, and hope that other members who are doubling down during this uncertainty will find products, services and offerings they didn't know they needed (or didn't know you offered).
Come and join us and share what you have on offer, or take a look at how other members can help with what you're working on: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/522349818453161/.
It's already off to a great start, with people buying from (and selling to) each other. We would love to see you there.
Here's to hoping the measures we're all undertaking will prevail, and we'll come through this stronger than before.
]]>There's a lot more that I could say about Kevin, but instead I would love for you to come and join us and ask your questions.
You can do so over here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/513903169297826/
Thank you!
Note: This is still under construction and we have a lot more to add - we're literally going back through every comment ever - but to start with there are some incredible discussions and comments from our community that I'm sure you'll love.
2020 is going to be a great year for this program - with many software additions and research reports on the way - all exclusive for members.
Thank you for being here!
We plan to share this with the world in a few weeks, but would love to have you give it a try before anyone else.
(It should also help de-clutter your bookmarks bar a little as well).
It's possible that one of the sites you discovered me on before joining this program was Detailed.com.
I don't write on the site very often, but when I do I try to have something "big" to say, so this next update I'm working on is no exception.
I've taken the time to dive into 1,000 different keyphrases where articles promoting products and services as an affiliate are most likely to be ranking well.
And from there, I have taken that data and shared some really interesting insights.
The article isn't live just yet, but I wanted SEO Blueprint members to get a first look, so there's a Facebook post on exactly that, here.
I can genuinely say this has been the best marketing-related AMA I have ever seen. Our special guest is really going all out with his answers.
If you've been through SEO Blueprint already, you may recall my video on how I find expired domains to pick up - with great backlinks - with ease.
I thought I would make your life even easier by sharing some of the best domains available to buy until the end of the year, spending $500 in the process so you don't have to.
Here's the Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/460676811287129/
It's already starting to get some great reactions:
Note: There are tabs at the bottom of the sheet so you'll see domains expiring over multiple days.
I have actually placed an order for a few of them myself, and I'll keep updating it daily until the end of 2019.
Finally, are you in the mood to give a little back?
A friend of one of our members has had a brutal time lately, having to fire 33 of his 40 employees, in large part to their poor search engine rankings.
They've shared their story - website and all - and would love some feedback if anyone has the time.
Here's the link to that discussion: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/permalink/460694277952049/
Last but not least, thank you for being part of this incredible community.
I am really proud of what we've built, but if you could see what we have around the corner you would still not believe it (in other words, there's some gooood stuff coming).
Thank you for being here!
I should say in advance that there's no specific "one fix" you need to make in order to recover rankings, but we really have tried to cover all angles.
For now, and probably the next few weeks, this is completely exclusive to SEO Blueprint members (and a few people who submitted their websites for us to analyse).
It's not perfect, and is definitely a draft, but I can say as a team we have never put this much work into a single piece of content...ever.
I'm really proud of the effort we put into this and how valuable we tried to make it, so I hope you feel the same.
We plan to do many more of these going forward - and I absolutely believe the next version will be 10x better - so let me thank you for being part of this community.
We're giving it our all to help your SEO journey, and it's great to have you along for the ride!
Even if you're brand new to SEO, you stand a chance of winning this one.
If all goes well, I would love to run more of these fun contests in the future, so let's see how it goes.
Remember: We want to build an elite and exclusive community, but we also want to be free from elitism and judgement, so if you wish to join our Facebook group with a pen name (as long as Facebook approve your account) that's totally fine.
Sitebulb is also set-up very differently to SF and takes a while to get used to, but I thought you might like to see how it works, so used it for my most recent update.
Here's the link: https://seoblueprint.com/analysing-a-wordpress-plugin/
I really hope you enjoy this one. Lots more on the way!
P.S. If you're not yet in our Facebook Group, don't forget to come and join us over here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/
Not only does this allow you to search video titles and page content, but it searches comments as well.
So if you want to find all of your own comments, this is one way to do so.
We also had a request to have a page where all of the latest comments are displayed.
I can certainly make this more useful but we've created a page for those as well, which looks something like this:
If you want to find the page again, just go to the main Dashboard area and look at the latest comments, and click 'View All'.
We also made some other announcements recently we didn't send an email about so you can look out for those, but I hope you enjoy these updates!
P.S. If you're not in our Facebook group yet, do come and join us. I shared a pretty cool new tool there this week: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/
(You're welcome to use a pen name if you're not a fan of Facebook for personal things).
You can find the new videos in the link building blueprint.
The first is titled, "Perfecting Your Why: A Framework Behind Successful Outreach" (link), and there are two more directly after that.
I show some pretty cool tips I haven't seen discussed before so I really hope you get value out of this one.
If link building is not your focus just yet, I have some really exciting updates for other Blueprint's on the way as well.
I can't say too much since these updates are available to read by non-members as well (though the content isn't), but I think you'll find this one interesting.
Here's the link: https://seoblueprint.com/spacing-issue-in-titles/
I really hope you like this one.
]]>I've just went live with a new video on exactly that: https://seoblueprint.com/act-upon-thin-or-unnecessary-pages/
This video was 40 minutes long before I cut it down to 30, but I like to think there's no fluff and it's full of actionable advice.
Just to make your life easier, you'll find clickable chapters in the play bar so you can skip to the sections most relevant to you.
I really hope you enjoy this one!
P.S. If you're reading this as an email subscriber, I actually made two other updates in the last 48 hours that I didn't email you about.
I try to only email you when I have something big to say, but you can click on What's new in the top right of the page after you log-in, and you'll see what else we've added.
]]>I actually gave quite a long update to the sites owner in the comments with some feedback on why his homepage may not be ranking as well as it should.
It might give you some food for thought for the projects you're working on.
He's a really nice guy, so I hope we can help him with this one!
]]>You can find it underneath the video, and it looks something like this:
To try to be even more useful, and to hopefully make your life easier, we've also added chapter links to the video, as you can see in the screenshot below:
This means you don't have to watch the whole video again to see what was said about a particular check.
The worksheet also contains a time mention for each specific check as well.
]]>I've recorded six of those videos now, but unfortunately some people didn't understand the original offer and asked for their site review to be private (which I'll happily take the blame for. It's not the end of the world.)
Some people are fine for us to share their reviews however, with three of those videos now live in our new audits module, https://seoblueprint.com/audits-blueprint/.
I don't think these videos should be 'completable' as you probably only want to watch those most relevant to your niche, but you can at least mark them as being watched.
To go with this we're also refreshing the dashboard so you can stay up to date on what's new at all times.
I blurred out the websites in the screenshot (and one commenter name) not to entice you to click through, but because these updates can be viewed by non members -- though they can not see any of the course content.
I've had some requests to make this dashboard more user-friendly on mobile devices so that's what I'm going to be focused on in the next update - though individual module pages should be fine on mobile devices.
I really hope you're enjoy this updates, and I can't wait to share what else we have in store. We haven't revealed all of the good stuff just yet.
Thank you for being here!
This not only helps you remember which module you are in, but makes it easier to go back to a specific module overview page if you aren't interested in going directly to the Next or Previous lesson (buttons underneath each video).
There's quite a long introduction to this one to give a bit of backstory, but if you want to skip to the meat you can find it at 6 minutes and 30 seconds into the video.
You can get the link to the video here: https://seoblueprint.com/minimal-competition-expired-domains/
I really hope you enjoy this one!
]]>In all honesty, we think everyone requesting it was very right to do so, and a lot of SEOBlueprint members have already joined us inside.
You can find the group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoblueprint/
Note that you will be asked for your course email address so we can help ensure only members are inside.
I should add, as I know people are going to be worried about this: This group is not for course support.
Not everyone uses Facebook (or wants to use Facebook) so that wouldn't be fair.
Also, the reason we didn't launch with a group is because groups are typically hard to manage and find things that have already been discussed.
I really like the on-site comment option where specific videos have all of their questions and answers in one place.
The primary purpose of the group is for members to be able to connect with each other, especially in order to create PINs, share link opportunities, ideas, and more.
]]>
We've just released an update which fixes the tool getting suck on certain URLs, and added an even easier way for you to find pages with trailing slash issues.
This page has all of the details.
Note that on future updates we aim to be able to update the software via the app, which we are now working on.
